WHAT DOES “ONE GOD” MEANS?

Speaking of jesus:

PHIL 2:6 WHO BEING IN THE MORPHE (SHAPE) OF GOD THOUGHT IT NOT ROBBERY TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD…

Jesus is in the shape of god therefore as confirmatory, Jesus and god has same shape. Having the same shape thus they have same nature. They are equally god as they have one nature like man is equally human being as they have the same nature.

Mankind has same nature. Jesus and god have equal shape.
Speaking of jesus:

Hebrews 1:3

[3]Who being the brightness of his glory, and the CHARAKTER (EXACT COPY) of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Shape implies their integral form. If they have blood cells, or DNA or skull or brain cells etc… the integral shape of these– or whatever Jesus and god’s natural form is–is equal between god and Jesus thus naturally, they are equal in their natural state as God.
Therefore Jesus and god has one spirit nature. The shape of their spirit form are equal. Thus they are one god. Equal in nature.

GOD IS GREATER THOUGH THAN JESUS BUT THAT IS IN ASPECT OF AUTHORITY WHEREAS IN NATURE THEY ARE EQUAL.

1 Corinthians 11:3

[3]But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

John 13:16

[16]Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

John 14:28

[28]Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

For example, in a family, the father is greater than his children in terms of authority but in nature, they are equally human beings likewise, god is greater than Jesus in authority but in nature, they are equally God–
That as preferential, much so contextual, makes them one god. Like man has same nature thus they are called mankind–one, singular and collective. Jesus and god almighty have equal nature thus they are called god–one, singular and collective. Much so, as expressed that being two individual person they are one collective god as indicated:

James 2:19

[19]Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

How does INC refutes this reality?

They said morphe or form is synonymous to eikon or image which image is metaphor for holiness thus saying, morphe or form is holiness, making form of god as speaking about holiness and not a literal form.

Let us see how scholars see it. Is it indeed synonymous, perfectly fit to interchangeably use it?

“….it has been long recognized that ‘Morphe’ (form) and ‘eikon’ (image) are near synonymous and that in Hebrew thought the visible ‘form of God is his glory”

Christology In The Making : An Inquiry Into The Originsof the Doctrine Of The Incarnation Dunn, James D. G p.115

Clearly, nothing is said about it as a perfect synonym but on the contrary, it was simply a near synonym therefore an invalid thing to say morphe can be replaced by eikon bec they are not a perfect fit.
The only rational thing left is to look at morphe or form in a rather literal way. God has a literal form so is with the god inside Jesus christ.

John 1:18 “the only begotten god”… (monogenes theos in the manuscript of john namely P66 and P75)
2 John 1:7
[7]For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Logically, that begotten god come inside the prepared flesh, and become jesus christ. Paul expressed this idea:

Heb 10:5 when he come to the world he said… a body hast thou prepared me.

From where did he come?

John 6:38 i came down from heaven..

That one from heaven was talking on earth therefore it has preexistence before coming inside the flesh, as he was a living entity in heaven as much as he is the same entity talking on earth. This speaks of preexistence. It is logically talking about the only begotten god, that come inside the prepared flesh–a prepared body as it say:

“a body hast thou prepared me”

This begotten god is the verbo in john 1:1, a preexistent god. This has the literal shape of god:

Hebrews 1:3

[3]Who being the brightness of his glory, and the CHARAKTER (EXACT COPY) of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

  1. What do you mean or/and where do you get it that “Jesus is in the shape of god”? We are all created in the image of God, so do you consider us all being in the shape of God? But then when you say “same shape thus they have same nature” would make us to have the same nature of God?!?
You say it a bit later “Mankind has same nature. Jesus and god have equal shape.”

Strangely you further philosophise “whatever Jesus and god’s natural form is–is equal between god and Jesus thus naturally, they are equal in their state as God.” coming to claim Jesus, like we are having to be one with Jesus, meaning we too according to you would have the same state as God.

It looks like you are so muddled up that the Bible clearly indicates that Jesus and God are two totally different personalities, but that you want to believe they would be one and the same, and therefore you want to twist the Bible words which indicate clearly that Jesus and God are not at all the same person.

We all should know that there is only One True God above all other gods, and that Most High God is Jehovah, the heavenly Father of Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Jesus and his disciples.

  2. Shape and image are two different terms. They may be synonymous but biblically in application, shape is not image. Shape is literal. Image is symbolic. One body with christ denotes a collective oneness. A unity in matters of holiness. It is not equality in shape. Indeed, jesus and god are one in nature but two distinct individual.

Lastly, we believe in multiple gods.
