JESUS IN ISAIAH 53, HIS DEATH PREDICTED!

Note: BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, LET US ESTABLISH THIS BIBLICAL FACT, ISAIAH 53 WAS WRITTEN IN PRESENT TENSE, FUTURE TENSE AND PRESENT PROGRESSIVE FORM, AND I WOULD FIRST CLARIFY, THAT PROPHECIES COULD EITHER BE PRESENT PROGRESSIVE BUT TO BE FULFILLED IN THE FUTURE LIKE THIS:

Luke 4:16-18,21

[16]And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

[17]And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

[18]The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

[21]And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

OR A PROPHECY COULD BE IN PAST TENSE FORM LIKE THIS:

Matthew 2:16-18

[16]Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

[17]Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,

[18]In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

MEANING PROPHECIES COULD BE EXPRESSED IN ALL TENSES, SUCH AS OTHERS I DID NOT INCLUDE!

TENSES ARE THEREFORE IRELEVANT IN A PROPHECY!

NOW FOR THE TOPIC:

ISAIAH 53
[,1]Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

(To us, the church! it was revealed!

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

[9]But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

[10]But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

[2]For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

(WHO IS THE TENDER PLANT?

Jeremiah 33:15

[15]In those days, and at that time, will I cause the TSEMACH (sprout, bud, branch) of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

Jeremiah 33:16

[16]In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

The tender plant or bud is the lord our righteousness?

Who is he?

1 Corinthians 1:30

[30]But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

According to Paul, Jesus was made as our righteousness. Firstly he is lord, as stated,

“God made Jesus both lord and Christ”

Secondly, Paul said, he is our righteousness, as it say, “he is made unto us righteousness”

Who’s the root?

Revelation 22:16

[16]I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Why he has no beauty” in him?

Psalms 22:6,11-15

[6]But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

[11]Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

[12]Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

[13]They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

[14]I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

[15]My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

He has no beauty bec he was a worm, meaning, tortured, that he lost a good looking appearance. In Mel Gibsons movie, he was full of wounds, bled, slashed, thus in that position called worm, unpleasant sight!

These are corroborative pointing to none other but Jesus, much so, if the succeeding verses would comply!)

[3]He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

(True. It fits Jesus.)

[4]Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

[5]But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

[6]All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

(Likewise speaking of Jesus, who was punished, bruised as sacrifice for sins.

2 Corinthians 5:21

[21]For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 Peter 3:18

[18]For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Hebrews 9:28

[28]So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

SMITTEN OF GOD?
Matthew 26:31

[31]Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.)

[7]He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

(JESUS DID NOT OPEN HIS MOUTH TO DEFEND HIMSELF.

Matthew 27:12

[12]And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.)

[8]He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

[9]And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

(JESUS DID NO VIOLENCE ACCORDING TO GODS WILL!

Though he angrily overturned merchandise and whipped with cords, it was not violence as Jesus said was just bec its god’s will!

John 5:30

[30]I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO DID NO DECEIT/GUILE ASIDE FROM NATHANIEL.

1 Peter 2:21

[21]For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1 Peter 2:22

[22]Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:)

[10]Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

(JESUS WAS THE OFFERING FOR SIN, NO OTHER!

Hebrews 10:10

[10]By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

HE SHALL SEE HIS SEED.

Christians are abrahams seed.

Galatians 3:29

[29]And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Implying, seed could be spiritual offspring as Jesus is our spiritual father as stated in Isaiah 9:6 thus we are his spiritual seed!

HE SHALL PROLONG HIS DAYS.

33YEARS of human life is long enough!

[11]He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

[12]Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

(HE WAS NUMBERED WITH THE TRANSGRESSORS!

Crucified with thieves!

HE BARE THE SINS OF MANY.

Hebrews 9:28

[28]So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

HE SHALL DIVIDE THE SPOIL WITH THE STRONG!

Why was it called a spoil?

Like this treasures accumulated in heaven, given as reward:

Matthew 6:20-21

[20]But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

[21]For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mark 10:29-30

[29]And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,

[30]But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Matthew 16:27

[27]For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

HE IS THE INTERCESSOR FOR SINS!
1 John 2:1

[1]My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an intercessor with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

HE SHALL POUR OUT HIS SOUL UNTO DEATH!

We know he died.

MUSLIMS ARE OPPOSING IT THOUGH QUOTING THESE:
Hebrews 5:7

[7]Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

It did not specify though in which occasion god would hear and answer him? It did not say, all the time, thus it was possible that he was killed as hinted by Isaiah, the gospel accounts, Paul’s letters and the revelation of john, even zechariah.

Zechariah 12:10

[10] they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

They said, god “always” hear Jesus!

JOHN 11:42-44 YOU HEAR ME “ALWAYS”

Biblically, everlasting or always, could also be terminal such as exemplified below:

Jonah 2:6

[6]I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me OLAM (ALWAYS, EVERLASTING): yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

We know that Jonah was not there all the time, thus, always sometimes is ending, such as how god hears Jesus always but not all the time as he was crucified, meaning, always doesn’t necessarily mean all the time! It has end, too!

They quoted:
Psalms 37:25

[25]I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Jesus was the exception,

Like when it said, “THE SON DONT BEAR THE INIQUITY OF THE FATHER, AND VICE VERSA”

As you noticed, it did not clearly say, there is no exception thus possibly there is, as Jesus was forsaken as he said,

“My god, why hast thou forsaken me!”

They quoted:

Psalms 37:28

[28]For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Meaning, god won’t forsake his saints in regards to their preservation or salvation, as it say, “none shall pluck them off the father’s hand!”,but in terms of, being the representative of sin, saints must be forsaken as jesus was, though a saint, embodies sin as it say,

2 Corinthians 5:21

[21]For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
They quoted:
Psalms 91:14-16

[14]Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

[15]He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

[16]With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Again, it did not specify in which particular occasion was this meant, all occasion or not? At all times or not?

God said,

Isaiah 55:11

[11]So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

And one of such to be accomplished is this:

because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Logically, bec god did not specifically said, “I will deliver you at all times” suggest the possibility, of his death, as hinted by Isaiah 53, as among those that must be accomplished, thus by context, when god said, I will deliver him, refers to the times other than his crucifixion!

Taking these all to account, that the whole context of Isaiah 53 points to noone but Jesus, it is conclusive, it spoke of him, meaning, a prophecy has confirmed the crucifixion!)

And lastly, it say:

Matthew 26:27-28

[27]And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

[28]For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

1 Peter 2:24-25

[24]Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
And Isaiah say,
“And with his stripes we are healed”

“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin”

“He hath poured out his soul unto death… and he bare the sin of many”
🌐

As we can see the blood of Jesus was shed for the forgiveness of sins, now tell me, as Isaiah 53 said, the prophecy is about someone who is offered for the healing of sins as he bare the sin of many unto death, who is that someone offered to death for the healing of sins, other than Jesus?
