The ten commandments is a dead law. Practicing it violates god`s will thus it is a heresy.
The ten commandments end in christ.
ROM 10:4 FOR CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW
It ends in christ at the time of John the Baptist.
LUKE 16:16 THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS WERE UNTIL JOHN
You cannot be justified by it.
ACTS 13:39 YOU COULD NOT BE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW OF MOSES
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS THE FIRST COVENANT AFTER ISRAEL CAME FROM EGYPT.
DEUT 4:13 and he declared unto you his covenant which he commanded you to perform, ten commandments and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
THAT COVENANT (ten commandments) WAS REPLACED AND VANISHED. It is therefore without effect.
HEB 8:7-13 FOR if that first covenant had been faultless then should no place have been sought for the second.
For finding fault with them he saith behold the days come saith the Lord when I will make a new covenant…
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt…
IN THAT HE SAID A NEW COVENANT HE HATH MADE THE FIRST OLD. NOW THAT WHICH DECAY AND WAX OLD IS READY TO VANISH AWAY…
THE first covenant (ten commandments) therefore is without effect. It vanished away from practice. It is a dead law.
DID JESUS ENDORSE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?
MATT 19:17-21 if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments.
He said unto him, which?
THOU shalt do no murder
THOU shalt not commit adultery
THOU shalt not steal
THOU shalt not bear false witness
Honor thy father and thy mother
And thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself
THE young man saith unto him, all these things have I kept from my youth up, what lack I yet?
Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast and give to the poor and thou shalt have treasure in heaven and come and follow me.
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
DID JESUS ENDORSE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR ALL BELIEVERS?
No. It was only for the young man and not for all. As a matter of fact, along the ten commandments, he commanded to sell your possession and give to the poor which is not a christian doctrine. Therefore jesus only prescribed his words for the young man alone and not for all believers.
It is to test him.
HOW COULD HE ENDORSE TO CHRISTIANS A DEAD LAW?
Jesus preached THOU SHALL NOT KILL, THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY but it is in a different meaning and context
Thus he is preaching a new law, a new “thou shall not kill”, “thou shall not commit adultery” etc…it is not the ten commandments.
JAMES 2:10-11 FOR whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point he is guilty of all
For he that said, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, said also, DO NOT KILL
now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Jesus never preached the ten commandments. He preached a new law than ten commandments.
When he preached, THOU SHALL NOT KILL it is not the one in ten commandments.
THE TEN commandments “thou shall not kill” is not speaking about totally no killing. Whereas Jesus law is totally no killing. By context, the ten commandments goes with death penalty of stoning as prescribed in the Torah.
Whereas, Jesus “thou shall not kill” is absent of death penalty.
By that, we know that ten commandments is inapplicable without death penalty.
If you remove death penalty as context for ten commandments then it is not the ten commandments as how god meant it.
THEREFORE in order for the message not to be altered, it must be interpreted in context. In context, it needs death penalty.
Meaning, it is not Jesus “thou shall not kill”.
THEY HAVE DIFFERENT MEANING.
TEN COMMANDMENTS “thou shall not kill”, don’t mean you cannot kill, in context, you can kill those condemned by law to die
JESUS “thou shall not kill”, don’t allow all forms of killing.
COMPARATIVELY, THE TWO “THOU SHALL NOT KILL” ARE DIFFERENT.
Thus Jesus law is new. It is not the ten commandments.
THEREFORE ANY ATTEMPT TO RESURRECT TEN COMMANDMENT AND PUT IT TO PRACTICE IS CLEAR HERESY.
It is already a dead law.
It is not in effect.
HEB8:13 NOW THAT WHICH DECAY AND WAX OLD IS READY TO VANISH AWAY.
