DEBUNKING PURGATORY

Jesus died for our mortal sins to be washed but leaving our venial sins unwashed.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS WASHES ONLY MORTAL SINS BUT NOT VENIAL SINS.

1JOHN1:7-8 but if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLEANSE US FROM ALL SIN, IF WE (the ones cleanse from all sin) SAY THAT WE HAVE NO SIN, WE DECEIVE OURSELVES AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN US.

Meaning, the blood of Jesus cleanse us from all sins, nevertheless, we still have sins

Meaning, we are cleanse from mortal sins but still our venial sins remain.

ROM6:16-18 know he not that to whom you yield servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey,

WHETHER OF “SIN UNTO DEATH” (mortal sin) OR OF OBEDIENCE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS but God be thanked, that ye were the servants of SIN (mortal SIN)…BEING THEN MADE FREE FROM SIN (mortal sin) YE BECOME THE SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS…
as you can see, VENIAL SINS are irrelevant. GOD DONT consider our venial sins, BEC even having VENIAL SINS after Jesus washed our sins, he consider us justified or sinless or innocent.

BEING JUSTIFIED, OR MADE INNOCENT, IS THERE NECESSITY OF PURGING VENIAL SINS IN PURGATORY, WHEN GOD CONSIDER US INNOCENT?

TITUS 3:4-7 but after that the kindness and love of god our saviour toward man appeared…BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US BY THE WASHING OF REGENARATION AND RENEWING OF THE HOLY GHOST which he shed abundantly through Jesus Christ our saviour THAT BEING JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE WE SHOULD BE MADE HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE…

WE are justified and it means, we are saved.

“ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US”

“BEING JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE”

Justification IS salvation.

ALL THOSE WASHED BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST ARE ALL JUSTIFIED OR SAVED THOUGH THEY HAVE VENIAL SINS…

meaning, VENIAL SINS are irrelevant to salvation, it doesn’t matter bec you’re SAVED even if you have venial sins.

Why?

BEC YOU ARE JUSTIFIED.

JUSTIFIED is “dikaioo” in Greek which means rendered innocent  or as Webster defined it is to be free from the penalty of sin…
WOULD THERE BE NEED TO PURGED YOUR VENIAL SINS IN PURGATORY WHEN YOU ARE FREED FROM THE PENALTY OF SIN OR IS INNOCENT?

PSALM32:2 BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOM GOD DONT IMPUTE SIN..
Would god need to purged your venial sins when god consider you innocent or sinless?

Would god need to purged your venial sins when god consider you innocent or sinless?

Logically, no more

If you are innocent it means your are pure in heart, thus, you will go to heaven. No need for purgatory.

MATT 5:8 BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART (the innocent or sinless, pure..) FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD…

PURGATORY IS TEMPORARY PUNISHMENT. THERE IS NO SUCH THING. THERE IS PEACE OR REST INSTEAD OF TORMENT.

REV6:9-11 I SAW UNDER THE ALTAR THE SPIRITS OF THEM THAT WERE SLAIN FOR THE WORD OF GOD…AND IT WAS SAID UNTO THEM TO REST FOR A WHILE UNTIL THEIR FELLOW WOULD BE KILLED, SHOULD BE FULFILLED…

Thus DEBUNKING purgatory…
There counter argument:

if a man is justified, why when he sin, there is need to pray for him and be granted life?

Why is life given to a sinner when he is justified? Does it not suggest that if you’re justified, you already have life?

1Jn 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin [which is] not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

Meaning, if you don’t pray for him, then, he has no life, which life would be restored in purgatory so as alleged.

That is a possible argument. I would argue this way: if he sin venial sin, does it mean he have no life that is why he have to give him life? Does life mean eternal life? So if you have venial sins, you have no eternal life, is that how it really means?

How could he have no eternal life when he is justified?

All believers who have venial sins have eternal life.

1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

That means, when you pray for someone with venial sins, god will grant him life. It is not eternal life as the sinner has already eternal life. Which life is that therefore?

Pr 4:20 . My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Pr 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

Pr 4:22 For they [are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

What life is that given to a sinner?

Life or the word of god, meaning, the sinner would be enlightened by the word of god. It doesn’t mean the sinner lose eternal life and be restored by prayer or purgatory.

It only means, god would enlighten the sinner upon the prayers of his brothers.

What do I mean?

That even if you have venial sins you are always be justified or rendered innocent. You only sin bec you are not enlightened, but still, you are justified. Why not?

Even when you have venial sins, you already have eternal life.

1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Does someone with eternal life passes through purgatory?

Obviously not!

First as I have shown you, someone with venial sin is innocent, free from sin, justified and having eternal life, that is tantamount, to absence of sin, which end is everlasting life. Do you purge someone considered by god to be sinless?

Ro 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
